TWL Questia check-in edit

Hello!

You are receiving this message because The Wikipedia Library has record of you receiving a one-year subscription to Questia. This is a brief update to remind you about that access:

  • Make sure that you can still log in to your Questia account; if you are having trouble feel free to get in touch.
  • When your account expires you can reapply for access at WP:Questia.
  • Remember, if you find this source useful for your Wikipedia work, make sure to include citations with links on Wikipedia: links to partner resources are one of the few ways we can demonstrate usage and demand for accounts to our partners. The greater the linkage, the greater the likelihood a useful partnership will be renewed.
  • Write unusual articles using this partner's sources? Did access to this source create new opportunities for you in the Wikipedia community? If you have a unique story to share about your contributions, email us and we can set up an opportunity for you to write a blog post about your work with one of our partner's resources.

Finally, we would greatly appreciate if you filled out this short survey. The survey helps us not only better serve you with facilitating this particular partnership, but also helps us discover what other partnerships and services The Wikipedia Library can offer.

Thanks!

Welcome to WP:CUE edit

Hi! I'd like to introduce myself, my name's Ed and I've been doing off and on again upgrades on our snooker (and other sports) articles. Per your userpage request, I'll take a look at the articles you mentioned; but I must say your work so far has been very good (especially for a non-native speaker). If I leave any notes for you, or rearrange things, don't be worried, it's usually to an archived discussion from WT:SNOOKER. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:10, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Lee Vilenski. Thanks for your kind words and nice to meet you. I have read many articles on the topic written by you and others, but then it is always more difficult when it comes to actually writing them... :) Thanks for taking the time to read the articles - and be sure that I will take everything you change into account for the future. Kind regards. Alavense (talk) 14:00, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

2004 and 2006 WSC edit

Hi! I see you've done these two articles up. I've got a task going to get all of the WSC articles up to GA Status. Would you like to go in as a co-nom if I do a bit of cleanup on these two articles? Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 22:42, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Lee Vilenski. It would be an honour, of course. Feel free to trim and amend whatever you think is necessary. I will keep an eye on them to learn. In other news, I am in the process of tidying up everything snooker-related in Commons: there are now categories by year, by season, by player by year... amongst other things. Kind regards, Alavense (talk) 07:05, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oh blimey, that's good work. I do a lot of work across Wikipedia as a whole, but I haven't touched much on Commons. I'll add you on the co-nom when I think they are ready. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 11:56, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Let me know if there's anything I can do, Lee Vilenski. I'll be glad to help. I'll be working on other articles in the meantime. Alavense (talk) 14:37, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
2006 is pretty close now, do you mind if I put them template up for GAN with you as a co-nominator? Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 17:38, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sure, Lee Vilenski. Thank you very much for your help. I'll keep an eye on the nomination to try and help whenever necessary. Kind regards, Alavense (talk) 17:59, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
