Smoky Joe Wood

Smoky Joe Wood was my grandfather. I've spent quite a bit of time in the wiki making sure that Smoky Joe is spelled correctly. You might be interested to know that Smokey The Bear (or Smokey Bear) is a misspelling. Don't tell the Forest Service, it's too late now! Look up smoky in the dictionary. Now look up smokey... it's not there because it wasn't a word before the Forest Service misspelled smoky, way back when.
