Speedy deletion nomination of Evan Schreiber

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Evan Schreiber requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Taroaldo (talk) 22:59, 12 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Creating new articles

edit

Hi. Persons with articles on Wikipedia must meet certain notability criteria. Please review this guideline before creating further pages. It provides a lot of good advice for editors who wish to start creating articles. If you have any questions, please let me know. Taroaldo (talk) 23:11, 12 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello Alan! I noticed a number of articles you recently created seemed to have been copied from the page http://kiem-tv.com/node/17. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, since they go against the principal that Wikipedia is free content. Please do not recreate them without further discussion, but don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have. Thanks. — The Earwig (talk) 23:32, 12 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Largest cities in california by acreage

I was just wondering what "WARNING !!! Please do not delete this, its a real article this belongs to me and my company alanco will be a 500 dollar fee if you delete thank you alanco" was supposed to mean? Are you saying that someone paid you $500 to create the article? Also once you post an article on Wikipedia all other editors can edit it as they want, see WP:OWN. If you open a page for editing you will see near the bottom the following:

"By clicking the "Save Page" button, you agree to the Terms of Use, and you irrevocably agree to release your contribution under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 License and the GFDL. You agree that a hyperlink or URL is sufficient attribution under the Creative Commons license.

If you do not want your writing to be edited, used, and redistributed at will, then do not submit it here. All text that you did not write yourself, except brief excerpts, must be available under terms consistent with Wikipedia's Terms of Use before you submit it."
