The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/StrongLoop

edit

Hello AlanCharlesYVR,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/StrongLoop, may be copied from http://www.crunchbase.com/company/strongloop. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 21:24, 23 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

It's been deleted twice as a copyright violation. Either write it in your own words or you will end up blocked. Wizardman 23:15, 13 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I have taken extreme care to phrase the information on this company differently that Crunchbase both times, referring instead to the company's own press / web material. Is there a particular sentence, paragraph or section you feel violates? I would very much like to resolve this and certainly didn't anticipate this happening a second time.
