Response to Topic Ideas

Three good subjects and each have a short Wikipedia entry. My leaning is toward Peary because (1) she's a Maine woman and because of that (2) we have lots of resources in the Maine Women Writers Collection which means (3) you'll have the assistance of the MWWC curator and (4) she's very cool (no arctic pun intended!). And, as her short entry shows, her many experiences and accomplishments are invisible in the glare of her better known husband.

To begin, you might search the UNE library catalog for works on Peary (mr. or mrs.) and also look up Peary on the MWWC webpage (library-->special collections-->MWWC).
