Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to BagItToday.com appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this. Thank you. Dawn Bard (talk) 15:45, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello Akhomiyar. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to you, your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Syrthiss (talk) 15:48, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violations of our Username Policy specifically representing a group see WP:ROLE and WP:CORPNAME. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

Your reason here : I choose Akhomiyar as User Name as I belong to Assam, India, This word signifies belongings of an Assamese People. The word Akhomiyar is not a slang in any language so usernameblock is inappropriate

Decline reason:

I don't know about your username, but your account has been used only for promotional editing for a business that you are working for. Wikipedia is not a medium for advertising or promotion, and accounts which exist only to use Wikipedia for such purposes are not permitted. JamesBWatson (talk) 16:59, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

For clarification - you said in your request on Dawn Bard's talkpage that you wished only to update the factual information on that article. However, what you appeared to be doing was adding advertising. That is why I placed my COI warning above, and why James just declined your unblock. If you were willing to actually only update factual information, I'm sure we would be happy to have your contributions. Syrthiss (talk) 17:02, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

As per JamesWatson I was blocked for promotional material and as per Mifter it was violations of our Username Policy. As I have already provided my reasons for choosing the UserName and I think it is not in violation and moreover I made a edit of a page with proper information. I request the Admin, Please have a look into the edit I have made. If you find any advertising you can surely delete those parts as per your liking but deleting the entire post and blocking the user for asking clarification (@Syrthiss as you are warning, you should atleast wait to see if the user has acted or not before blocking) is simply dictating. I just asked Bard what is in the edit he thought advertising. BTW please clarify your stance on Blocking, it it Promotional Material or UserName Violation

Decline reason:

As with the previous reviewing admin, I can't find any username issues ... it is possible that the blocking admin inadvertently chose the wrong item from the pull-down menu. That happens. However, your block is well within policy otherwise, as you were warned not to put material like this, which is clearly written in a promotional, rather than encyclopedic, tone. And, then you went and restored it after it was removed. Not the way to impress us. — Daniel Case (talk) 18:10, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

I did't knew the procedure of talks at first, so I restored it providing a comment to interact with Bard. Later I studied the help and asked him again using talk. by that time my ID was blocked No-one gave me a chance to go through the policies and rectify any mistakes before blocking.

As I mentioned above, I'd be willing to consider a good faith unblock if you would agree to just update factual, reliably sourced information in connection to your company. I realize this may have been new to you and the block came on you quickly. I have not unblocked before now because you seemed to be saying that the material you added could have been corrected to remove the advertising, which is an unfair burden to place on the other editors. If this is agreeable to you, let me know here. I am only in the office for an hour more, but can check in the morning as I realize it may be very late there. @Syrthiss I am in agreement to your conditions and shall be more diligent in any future updates. Hope I will be able to bring in value addition to wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.247.247.237 (talk) 05:17, 13 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I have unblocked you. Please let me know if you are still unable to edit. Thanks! Syrthiss (talk) 11:54, 13 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

You are about one promotional edit away from being blocked again. You are to add neutrally worded factual information, only. I have partially reverted your edits on your company's article. Syrthiss (talk) 12:24, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
