List building

There are three basic steps to building a topic list for Wikipedia: the first is to search Wikipedia to make sure it doesn't already have a list on the subject. The second step is to hunt down every word you can find on the subject, from your own memory, books, web directories, dictionaries, etc. Surround each term with double square brackets, and save the page.

Because Wikipedia has become so extensive, don't be surprised if most or even all of the links turn out blue (those are live links, each leading to an article on Wikipedia). Dead-end links are red, but don't remove them, because they show what articles Wikipedia is missing — anyone can click on a red link to create an article on that topic. The third step is checking each live article in the list for links to related topics. When you find one, add it to the list.

Please stop updating the Arihant image

Hi, Can you please discuss why you are updating the Arihant image? Your first edits were reverted and yet you redid them without explanation. Is there a specific reason. Both images look the same to me. Thanks. Adamgerber80 (talk) 20:24, 9 October 2018 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Adamgerber80, Hi, they are updating jpg version of image with svg one. Having svg images for such diagrams is always preferred as svg's are scalable and doesn't degrade quality on zooming. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 17:30, 10 October 2018 (UTC)

@1997kB: Yes while that is ideal, the user has downloaded the jpg from an existing image and uploaded it as a svg falsely claiming it as own park. I think we need to fix that before we start using that image. Thanks. Adamgerber80 (talk) 20:18, 11 October 2018 (UTC)

Error in script (resposting)

Script error

The script error is unfortunately persisting where trying to list a discussion just causes Wikipedia to freeze when I click the submit button and crashes all my Wikipedia tabs. Is there a way to fix the error and/or improve the error handling? {{u|Sdkb}} ^talk 16:37, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

Unfortunately that's been disabled on my Chromebook so I can't help you out much. The exact steps to reproduce it are, go to the talk page of the discussion, click more, click ANRFC lister, click on List on ANRFC, choose anything in the dropdown menu, click submit, and then the tab just freezes. ― Blaze Wolf^Talk_{Blaze Wolf#6545} 01:55, 22 February 2022 (UTC)

@Blaze Wolf: I did that but it doesn't happen for me, also someone listed the discussion on 20[1] so script is working. I think there's something specific happening with your accounts. User:Novem Linguae/Scripts/anrfc-lister.js. @Blaze Wolf, @Sdkb, feel free to uninstall the old one, install this new one, and give it a try.
