Quadcopters are a type of helicopter

edit

That's why "copter" is in the name - it's short for Quad-helicopter. Please stop changing this. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 22:36, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

edit

Your recent editing history at Quadcopter shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Quadcopter) for a period of 1 week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 12:57, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
You can still edit the Talk:Quadcopter page to explain your edits. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 12:59, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. In general, it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' userpages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Please refer to Wikipedia:User page for more information on User page etiquette. Please see WP:POINT. Vandalising the userpage of the blocking admin isn't going to help your case. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Widr (talk) 16:40, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

About helicopters and quadcopter

edit

According to https://www.diffen.com/difference/Helicopter_vs_Quadcopter Quadcopters and helicopters are both different things. www.diffen.com compares 2 unlike things so in the article “Quadcopter” at the top where it says “Quadcopter or quadrotor is a type of helicopter with four rotors.” It should be like this “ Quadcopter or quadrotor is a type of rotorcraft with four propellers.

Thank You, Rehan Roy Aircrafts and motorboats (talk) 14:01, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Diffen is not a reliable source and in fact uses Wikipedia as its source. In several places it even refers to "quadrotor helicopter". - BilCat (talk) 19:48, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Well that is how people call quadcopter it is just a name but helicopters and quadcopters are 2 different things. Aircrafts and motorboats (talk) 16:20, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

There are many different types of helicopters. In fact, some of the first helicopters were quadcopters. If you'd read the whole article, you would learn that. - BilCat (talk) 23:44, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Do you know how to delete a Wikipedia account Aircrafts and motorboats (talk) 01:04, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I want to delete mine. Aircrafts and motorboats (talk) 01:04, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

You cannot delete an account, you can just stop using it. - Ahunt (talk) 02:48, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello everybody. I hope this message finds you safe from coved-19! I just wanted to point out that there is a mistake in Wikipedia when you search up Soviet Submarine K-222. When it said “She was the world’s fastest submarine” It should have said “It was the world’s fastest submarine.” So basically in that sentence the word she should be changed to it.

Stay safe and happy,
