{{hb start}}, {{hb end}} and {{using hb}} edit

Hi, I've seen you around handball articles here on Wikipedia. Just wanted to let you know, that I've made a separate template for handball articles. {{hb start}}, {{hb end}} and {{using hb}}. So now we don't have to borrow {{fb start}} anymore, and when using "hb" the templates will be listed at Category:Handball navigational boxes (standardized) automatically. See you around! =) lil2mas (talk) 19:09, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the information! I'm glad that you've taken the time to change this. :) Aikurn (talk) 11:43, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your revert at Beatrix Balogh edit

Could please explain this edit? Paradoctor (talk) 12:15, 22 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I undid your edit because Beatrix Balogh is a handball player and your source didn't provide a valid way to know if the author of that thesis is the same person. Beatrix Balogh is a common name. This also applies to the Facebook page. Considering that we are dealing with a BLP, I think it is important to be cautious. --Aikurn (talk) 12:46, 22 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Rulmentul Brasov logo.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Rulmentul Brasov logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Handball templates edit

Hi, hope you do not mind me asking you but there is no Handball project that I can direct this to and you appear to be editing these articles. The football project have been working over several months to eliminate the {{fb start}} & {{fb end}} templates. Some handball articles use these templates instead of the derived set of {{hb start}} & {{hb end}} templates. Would you be in favour of eliminating the use of these templates in line with the football project? If you feel that these should be retained then the football version can be switched to use the handball version. There is probably less than 50 uses on handball articles so this would be a quick process and eliminating them will help to standardise on full width navboxes. Thank. DYK about Győri Audi ETO KC edit

Hi there, I updated the article with the Champions League and Magyar Bajnoksag`s result for this year (first time ever editing anything here), but I need your assistance with the logo, the team changed its logo now, but as I am not registered, I cannot upload new pictures.

There is a good quality one on the team`s facebook page: https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/184488_594443117255478_197070447_n.jpg

I don`t even know, if this will find the right person at all... well. Hope the best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.54.34.117 (talk) 23:17, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
