Userboxes edit

"Those tags" are called userboxes. Adding them to your page is pretty simple:

  1. At the very top of your userpage, add this code: {{Userboxtop|Userboxes}}.
  2. After this, add some userboxes, a list of categories can be found at Wikipedia:Userboxen#Gallery
  3. Select the category you want a userbox from, for example Wikipedia:Userboxes/Cars, if you want a userbox about cars. On the page this link leads to, there will be a list of userboxes related to cars, under "results" you have what the final userbox will look like once it's on your page. On the left, you have "code".
  4. Find a userbox you like, and copy the code. Then, go on to your userpage, and paste the code directly below the {{Userboxtop|Userboxes}}.
  5. Add as many userboxes you want in the same way.
  6. Once you have finished adding userboxes, place this code: {{Userboxbottom}} directly below the bottom userbox.
  7. Save the page.

If you need help with anything else. Or any of that doesn't make sense. Just ask me again :). Cheers - Kingpin13 (talk) 15:58, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey, thanks for the smile, glad I could help. By the way, if you want to stack them up, so they don't overlap with other stuff (see my user page for an example of what they look like stacked up), just add {{Userboxtop}} where the code for the userboxes begin, and {{Userboxbottom}} for where the code ends. If you want to do that but need some help. Feel free to ask :). Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 21:37, 29 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
