That was a real speedy deletion

I am contesting this speedy deletion because of the following reasons:

1. This article is not a rip-off from 2002 Gujarat violence
2. The main article 2002 Gujarat violence did not have extensive details/coverage on what, when and how it happened. That was the main reason for this article to be started. This article will be linked under See more section or can be included as main article for subsection that describes how the riot took place.
3. Since this is considered a worst violence post-Indian Independence, a detailed timeline of the riots is essential for a better understanding for the reader.

I really applaud the speed with which this article was speedily deleted. Please use the same speed to work on other areas of Wikipedia too! (chuckles) - Vatsan34 (talk) 14:45, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
