Archive edit

I think you may have moved your talk page onto the wrong archive page . Talk:Articlename/Archive 1 is only used as an example. I would consider moving your Archive to User talk:Ageo020/Archive 1 :). This is kinda funny, the same thing happened to me today too :p --ShadowJester07 04:20, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Konstantin Andreev edit

Hi, I was working on Wikipedia:Suspected copyright violations and encountered the Konstantin Andreev article. It seems to be a direct copy & paste from [1]. Normally (with new editors) I would put a {{copyvio}} tag but since you're not a new editor I thought it's better to check it with you if the material is licensed under a free license or public domain. Cheers, Garion96 (talk) 20:20, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Seems fine now. Thanks for fixing it. Garion96 (talk) 05:21, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Barca and Madrid players edit

Hi. Very good idea to have created that category. I have added Luis Enrique and Hagi. Right now the only other one I can remember is Bernd Schuster. You can add him. Thanks --ChaChaFut 01:24, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Question: I see you added Jordi López to this category. According to the article he has not played for the first team of Barcelona. In my opinion, this category should be reserved for members of the "A" teams only, but I would like to check first. --ChaChaFut 01:35, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is it just me or every user, but Edit this Page button on top of the page is missing for me on every article. I can edit from each of the individual paragraphs. eg: External Links.

So far as I can tell, its just you. Have you modified your settings at all? Was it there before? KillerChihuahua?!? 23:15, 18 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

September Esperanza Newsletter edit

Program Feature: Barnstar Brigade
Here in Wikipedia there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors!
What's New?
September elections are upon us! Anyone wishing to be a part of the Advisory Council may list themselves as a candidate from 18 September until 24 September, with the voting taking place from 25 September to 30 September. Those who wish to help with the election staff should also list themselves!
Appreciation Week, a program currently in development, now has its own subpage! Share your good ideas on how to make it awesome there!
The Esperanza front page has been redesigned! Many thanks to all who worked hard on it.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
  1. The proposals page has been updated, with some proposals being archived.
  2. Since the program in development Appretiaion week is getting lots of good ideas, it now has its own subpage.
  3. The September 2006 Council elections will open for nominations on 18 September 2006. The voting will run from 25 September 2006 until 30 September 2006. If you wish to be a candidate or a member of the elections staff, please list yourself!
  4. The new Esperanza front page design has but put up - many thanks to all who worked on it!
  5. TangoTango has written a script for a bot that will list new members of Esperanza, which will help those who welcome new Esperanzains greatly!

Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.

Help edit

A small help with templates. I created this template [3]. But there is a problem with that template, If you click pn the link Australia squad, it goes to Australian national football team. I want it to go to the cricket team.

Now, i understand that that template uses this primary template [4]. So I made myself a new one titled Cricket squad template [5].

Now my question, how do I use this template: Cricket squad in the australian squad template --Ageo020 (talkcontribscount) 03:42, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

You just needed to replace "{{National squad" with "{{Cricket squad" at the beginning of your template (the Australian one that is), which I have done. Equendil Talk 04:25, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Also, for your information, you could have kept using the National squad template instead of creating a new cricket team template, you only needed to add "| team_link = Australian cricket team" in your australian cricket template. Equendil Talk 04:34, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
It's actually better that way, so I changed your australian template back to use the National Squad template, no need for that Cricket team one. Equendil Talk 04:37, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Template:Incredibles characters edit

I guess it is half and half. I think more people perhaps will have more of a formulated opinion that Mirage is a villain. I'd say it's up to the person who is interpreting the template, but I personally don't mind which section it's in—I created it after responding to a request to the request for templates page. ;) — Webdinger BLAH | SZ 23:48, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

BALCO page move edit

Hi Ageo020! You requested that Bharat aluminium company have the 'a' and the 'c' capitalised in the title. For future reference you can do this yourself by using the page move function. Just click 'move' in your top toolbar, which will take you to instructions on where you want to move the page to. I've done it this time, but you can do it too! (Man, that sounds cheesy).

The Hideous Image on My Userpage edit

Hello, you removed an image from my user page. I thought it myself hideous. I didn't put it there. The one who put it there (seeing my request to help me put the text in boxes) reverted it so that it didn't show. But someone else re-reverted it to make it show again. My userpage is the last thing I care for. But are you sure of its impossibiliy in Wikipedia? Weren't you prodded by a moralist stand which may go against the grain of Wiki's amoral stand. I don't know the appropriate wiki jargon for that. I think I have read somewhere that there might be things that you may object to in Wiki, but if they were contextual they had to stay. If you will please expalin this policy part a bit, it would be useful for me in other contexts. Regards, Kuntan 02:56, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Actor templates edit

Dear Age, please stop creating actor templates and adding them to articles. Check out the discussion page for the Indian cinema project (WP:INCINE) and see the note from the editor who works with the overall film projects. Templates for directors only is the rule.

I will be putting the actor templates up for deletion. It would be nice if you could remove the templates you placed. I don't think you thought it through -- films could have dozens of actor templates plastered on them. That doesn't help. Zora 06:09, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't think "selected films" would help. You'd still have the bottom of the page cluttered with actor templates. Plus, it's personal opinion which films should go on the template and which shouldn't. Zora 20:34, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! edit

Thanks for making the template. I put it on every page. Except that there is this Zora who keeps bothering me and saying it is going to be deleted. I don't know what's her problem. Deal with her. She removed half of Aamir Khan's templates. Thanks again! ---shez15 21:34, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Very weak nomination? Actually Google is recognized as one of the world wide web's main sources for locating information. The article lacks any sources on whether this individual actually exsists, and when you put his name is google you get absolutly nothing. Your voting keep as a consensus is reasonable, but calling the nomination weak? May want to rethink that one. Thanks! Stubbleboy 01:42, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
