Non-existent categories

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to National Food and Drug Authority, please make sure that the category page actually exists. In some cases, it may be appropriate to create a new category in accordance with Wikipedia's categorization guidelines, but it is usually better to use the most specific available existing category. It is never appropriate to leave a page categorised in a non-existent category, i.e. one whose link displays in red. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Hi Agaba Perez: Nobody seems to have told you that the above discussion at the noticeboard led to your rollback rights being removed for misuse. You asked for the rights so that you could revert with one click, but you were told at the time that you must use it only in accordance with policy. See this list; rollback is instant and leaves only an autoimatic edit summary saying the edit was reverted, so it must not be used where you simply disagree with an edit or want to make a different change instead, only where it's a self-evidently wrong edit that doesn't need an explanation in the edit summary, such as vandalism. There are other ways of reverting all or part of a previous edit that do allow for an edit summary explaining your reason (including the "undo" button, and these should normally be used, writing a summary of your reason whenever possible. As it stands, this article has three issues:

1. The provided sources are insufficient for demonstrating notability. Elmidae made the right decision moving this article to draftspace, but it appears that you have moved it back to mainspace without addressing any of Elmidae's concerns. However, looking online, I was able to find this article online. I'm not familiar with this source, and have started a discussion at the reliable sources noticeboard to establish whether it's reliable or not. If this source is reliable, or if you are able to provide other citations to reliable sources providing significant coverage of Titus, then I think we can keep the article. Otherwise, I will nominate it for deletion.

2. The article has major neutrality problems, as it is written in a manner which distinctly takes the side of the subject. Relevant policy is at WP:NPOV. Even if the article is kept, it will need to be almost entirely rewritten to comply with WP:NPOV guidelines.

3. The article had BLP content that is entirely unsourced and which I have removed. Unverifiable information is not welcome on Wikipedia, and this is doubly true for content in biographies of living people. Based on your inclusion of this material, and the neutrality concerns mentioned above, I'd appreciate it if you could clarify whether you have a conflict of interest with Seruga Titus.

Agaba Perez: I looked back here since I had posted here a while ago, and saw that articles you have written are being deleted, and that you had apparently moved this one back to mainspace after it had been userfied as needing further improvement. I was not impressed by what I found. Not only was the writing non-neutral and not only was there still much unsourced even after removals by Rosguill, almost all the references were simply the main page of the news site. How does the URL of the main page reference anything? The reader needs the URL of the specific article to verify the content. Ideally, you'll also give the title and date to make it easier to chase it down if it has been moved or taken down in the meantime, and the publication/website name and author's name(s) for full credit. But the specific article is a must, and you have to have been looking at the specific article, or how would you know they referenced the points? I was about to nominate it for deletion, but looking for sources myself I found enough to convince me of his notability. I'm wondering how many articles on notable people in places under-represented on Wikipedia we have lost because you referenced them equally poorly. Only an admin would be able to check, but please, include at least the specific news articles! I suggest you start using the articles for creation process, where experienced Wikipedians can advise you on non-promotional tone and on referencing. I don't want you to stop writing articles, but if they get deleted and the subject was notable, that's such a crying waste. Yngvadottir (talk) 22:56, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
