No non-wiki sources found for claims. May be a BLPPROD, but given that there seem to be no sources in existence, I can't tell whether he's still alive or not.

Ismail obuli

Hi Afdhuub. If you want to preserve this article on WIkipedia, you will need to provide sources. All content on Wikipedia requires verification in reliable sources - you will need to find newspapers, books or reliable websites (i.e. not blogs or wikis) that tallk about Mr Obuli in some depth. If such sources are not provided then the article will be deleted after one week.

I should add that I'm fairly experienced at finding sources on comparatively obscure topics, and I've not been able to find anything online at all - it may simply be that Mr Obuli does not meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria. Yunshui 雲‍水 11:10, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Firstly, please log in to your account before editing. Secondly, we cannot accept the claim of his mayorship on your say-so. You do not need to prove anything to me, and emailing me copies of documents will not help your case; what you need to do is cite such sources in the article. Remember that sources need to be:

• Independent - Mr Obuli's own statements, or those of his campaign team or associates, are not acceptable.
• Reliable - either official publications, or information from media with some form of editorial oversight.
• In depth - the appearance of Mr Obuli's name in a list or as a passing mention is not sufficient.
• Multiple - you need to provide at least two separate sources.
