Hi Aetil,

Please be more careful with your edits, because I found two problems.

(1) Small Boulevard info doubled in Grand Boulevard article

You inserted ([1]) this part into the article Grand Boulevard (Budapest), in connection with the Small Boulevard:

"which follows the line of the demolished city walls of medieval Pest (remaining parts of this wall can still be found in the internal courtyards of several residential buildings on Múzeum körút)"

As you could see the link, there is a separate article about Small Boulevard, where this information is already available:

"Along Kiskörút, remnants of the old City Wall can still be seen (eg. at Ferenczy István utca corner), although most are already hidden in the courtyards of residential buildings."

So please

1. Put relevant information to the article it belongs (if the article exists).
2. Before making a change, read through the article (e.g. by searching for a typical term in its text) whether it already contains the necessary information (or a piece of it, or a link to it), so it shouldn't be doubled.

(2) Széchenyi Chain Bridge

What is your source that Roosevelt Square in Budapest is named after Theodore Roosevelt and not Franklin D. Roosevelt? ([2]) My source is Somorjai Ferenc: Budapest (Panoráma városkalauz), Medicina, 1996, page 227 (ISBN 9632437667).

User page copying

Megtisztelő, hogy ilyen pompásnak tartod a userlapomat, de legalább egy picit variálhattál volna rajta – különösen a szövegén! –, mielőtt lenyúlod... :-) (Még jó, hogy a zoknibábot nem vetted át.) Még csak nem is olyan nagy szám, amit én összehoztam; nem hiszem, hogy méltó lenne a sokszorosításra.

Szerintem érdemes lenne megnézned egypár más userlapot is (pl. a Recent changesből vagy az általad látogatott lapok történetére kattintva), és azokból megpróbálhatnál valami egyénibbet összeollózni: szöveg, szín, elrendezés, betűtípus, és mindenekelőtt maga a tartalom terén. Biztos találsz perceken belül még egy csomó más jó ötletet is. Nem hiszem el, hogy ennyire nincs fantáziád! -- Adam78 00:23, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

Még valami: ha a Wikipédiában bárhol aláírsz valamit, azt a négy hullámvonallal teheted (~~~~): ennek révén, amikor a "Save page"-re kattintasz, megjelenik a felhasználóneved az oldaladra belinkelve, valamint az aktuális dátum, mint emitt: Adam78 10:45, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

Postásnő

Tavaly augusztusban írtad a Gender-neutral language c. cikkbe, hogy This though does not work with all the professions as quite many would sound very awkward (as "postás" meaning "letter carrier", lit. "someone associated with the post", where there is no such thing as "postásnő" "mailwoman"). → Biztos vagy benne, hogy a postásnő alakot akkor sem használják, ha ki akarják hangsúlyozni, hogy az illető nő? Ezek>szerint ez az MTI-hír "magyartalan"? Kiraboltatta magát a gyöngyösfalui postásnő

Szevasz, én az általad küldött cikkben is erőltetettnek érzem erősen a postásnőt, persze lehet, hogy csak az én fülem sérti a szokatlansága. Létezik a rendőrnő is, ami valahogy egyértelműbben humoros-gúnyos kifejezés és mutatja, hogy mennyire nem hétköznapi módja ez a nemi különbségtételnek a szakmanévben. Igazából nem tudom:) Lehet, hogy ízlés és nem nyelvhelyesség kérdése?

Hali, "anonimoknak" így kell küldeni, nincs állandó vitalapjuk (én meg voltam olyan lusta, hogy nem jelentkeztem be. :))

Szokatlannak végülis tényleg szoktatlan a "postásnő", de szerintem ennek csak az az oka, hogy ritkán akarjuk valakiről egyszerre hangsúlyozni azt, hogy nőnemű és azt, hogy a foglalkozása: postás. De ha valami miatt akarjuk, akkor szerintem így tehetjük a legegyszerűbben.

(Az én fülemet annyira nem sértette, de nem zárom ki, hogy az ízlésemet már kikezdték a kereskedelmi televíziók. :))

Noble titles in Hungary

Hello Aetil, I noticed your correction of the date for the abolition of noble titles in Hungary. I put this event into the article some years ago (with the 1945 date), but neglected to include what my reference source was. Later, some anonymous editor kept trying to delete the passage, and to my frustration I couldn't remember or find my original source.
