Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:06, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Max Deutsch edit

Hi. I have declined your speedy deletion request at Max Deutsch. At the time you added it, the article looked like this with a very clear opening statement that "Max Deutsch (17 November 1892, in Vienna – 22 November 1982, in Paris) was an Austrian-French composer, conductor, and teacher" followed by more clear information - so your claim that it did not have sufficient context to identify the subject was clearly not correct. And your re-addition when the article looked like this was even less appropriate.

Nominating articles for speedy deletion requires a full understanding of the criteria described at WP:CSD and an ability to judge carefully - and incorrectly nominating articles can greatly discourage people who are helping us to build the encyclopedia. As you are so new here, I must ask you not to nominate any more articles for speedy deletion until you have been here for a while, have gained sufficient experience, and understand the CSD criteria properly. I suggest you spend some time improving articles by researching their subjects and adding well-sourced material, in order to gain that experience, rather than looking to see what you can get deleted.

Finally, please spend time following and understanding the links in the Welcome message left for you by Liz above - they will help you understand Wikipedia better and learn how you can contribute positively. And if there is any help you need with anything, please feel free to ask me on my Talk page (there's a link in my signature). Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:34, 27 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Oh, and one last point, when you re-added the speedy deletion nomination you used the edit summary "you shouldn't delete the speedy deletion without admins permission". But that is not true - anyone apart from the original creator of an article can remove a speedy deletion request if they disagree with it. This is a difference between WP:PROD and WP:Speedy deletion. You also would do well to read WP:Before. Happy holidays. 7&6=thirteen () 14:55, 27 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Galactic empire edit

I see you also nominated Galactic empire for speedy deletion with the reason "No or little sources around this article", but that is not a valid speedy deletion reason (see WP:CSD), and so I have declined that too. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:43, 27 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Of course, you didn't edit it, and I'm not giving you a DYK. But you did try to delete it, and made this all possible in a perverse way. 12:49, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Royalty Press edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Royalty Press requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
