Hey! I’m excited to review the draft of your project when you have it posted. I like your idea of an applications section. I’m not sure if the history section is the best focus for this particular assignment, but it could be really cool! Magggey (talk) 03:34, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

These changes look really good! I like what you've done with the History section. It definitely gives more context to the field. And the applications really help drive the point home about why studying structural biology is important. What figure are you going to add? Cs4652 (talk) 16:55, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hey! Thanks for both of your thoughts. I forgot to add a couple more things last night, so I just finished adding them. I was also having trouble uploading my figure for the project, so I will add it as soon as I figure out the issue. Ae2526 (talk) 17:21, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Just figured out how to add my figure! Feel free to leave any new comments, so I can make my project better. Ae2526 (talk) 17:43, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I really like what you've done with this. Your figure is great and the details you've added really help clarify what structural biology is, how it was developed, and why it matters. The only thing I could think to suggest would be to maybe explain a little more how structural biology can be used to study cancer. In the Applications section, you say that structural biology is useful for that purpose, but don't say anything beyond that. You could expound there a little-- even just another sentence or two-- to emphasize another application of structural biology, but it's not essential if you decide you don't want to focus on that. Super well done with this! Cs4652 (talk) 18:16, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I like your figure a lot, and the addition of the applications section! I agree, fleshing out the application section a little more could help it feel more balanced as an article.

I like the history section. I think it could act as a springboard to discuss more of that in applications, just so it feels more like a fit for this particular assignment. Another consideration for the application section could be a drug that you’ve found that they studied using principles from structural biology. I feel like that makes your figure feel more tied in too. Also, is there a citation for that last sentence in the application section?

I would also consider linking in the wikipedia articles for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc. so people can just click on that and go there. Magggey (talk) 21:22, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hey! I don't see any new changes, so I'm just going to say my second review is reiterating my first review. I noticed too that I think it would help in the application section to describe which types of cancers it has been used to study if possible! I would also make sure you get it uploaded to the page soon. I didn't see the changes in the history section in the actual Wikipedia article yet. Let me know if there's something else you need feedback on! Overall, it looks great. This concludes my second peer review. Magggey (talk) 18:35, 6 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
