Thanks for uploading Image:Leon kemp - guitar.jpg. Image problems edit

Putting images on Wikipedia can be confusing at the best of times. The reason the images you've uploaded are being deleted is because they are missing information; see the Image use policy for information on what you need. I've noticed that you're saying there is no copyright on some of the images you're uploading - unfortunately, that's not correct. The copyright holder could have chosen to release all rights and place the image in the public domain, but that it still licensing information. While it might make sense that images released for use on Wikipedia would be acceptable, since Wikipedia's licensing allows other people to reuse the content, licensing for Wikipedia only isn't acceptable.

Since, at least with Image:Anterior - this age of silence.jpg your claim is that the band gave permission, you will need to have the band email permissions@wikimedia.org. They will need to give the name of the picture and how they want to release the picture. For information on what licenses are acceptable, please see Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags/Free_licenses.

Feel free to hit me up on my talk page if you need more help, or ask the folks on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Shell babelfish 00:41, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
