Request reason:

I'm currently living in China where half the internet is blocked by the great firewall. I use a vpn to gain access to the internet. I think this may have caused the block. This is only my second post in Wikipedia (I think). I haven't done/written anything incriminating. Therefore i believe this block is unnecessary and not very fair.please consider unblocking.

Decline reason:

No response to below requests for information in > 2 days. A new unblock request may be placed that responds accordingly. Please note, the intent is NOT to block valid editors (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:58, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If you're using some sort of proxy service, then the block does need to stay in place for security reasons, however if you are living in China we can give you an exemption that will allow you to edit in spite of the block. Just a minute... Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:48, 16 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Neither of the IP addresses you've used recently appear to be blocked. It looks like you should be able to edit normally from the IP address you used to make this request; if not, then try logging into your VPN and making an edit to this page. In order to grant an exemption, I need to confirm that there is in fact a block affecting you. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:50, 16 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
