Hi, aside from the nominator, you seem to be the main contributor to this page. We are trying to nominate it for a main-page appearance in the Did You Know section, but the continuing edits and reversions are going to keep this on hold for a while. What do you think? • I am sorry for the delayed answer. Yes, I think that the article can be featured and that we can freeze it for at least a month because I guess that the response and confirmation of autopsy results will not be publicy availabe before March or April 2021. Regarding a 404 response in an overload condition, the book citation you've restored does not appear to say that it's "inappropriate," and it is not. A server can return a 404 response whenever circumstances at the time of the request prevent it from determining that a representation of the resource exists. 73.71.251.64 (talk) 19:02, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

XMLHttpRequest

FYI there is an edit war at XMLHttpRequest between myself and Timhowardriley. Among the points of contention:

• Timhowardriley disputes the description of XHR as an "API". I referred to the standard that says it is one. He is indifferent.
• I noted significant points of misinformation in the section that describes XHR methods (which also frequently strays from the topic at hand). I replaced that section with a general example of using XHR. Timhowardriley reverted that with little comment.
• A year ago Timhowardriley removed existing sections about CORS and Fetch API on the basis that they were not "essential" then added sections focusing on server-side technology and code examples that, in my view, are quite poor (e.g. one sends a DELETE request without a URL.) I removed those examples and restored the CORS and Fetch sections. He has reverted.
