Welcome! edit

Hello, AddisonBlacksmith, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Yes, Facebook and Twitter aren't suitable sources. If the information supported by them seems accurate and relevant to you, then I suggest you try to find a better source, rather than removing the information.

I think it would be fine to use primary sources to describe the experimental design. Look for the best source for the information. (For a long-term study like this, later iterations might be better sources because they can tell what was actually done, rather than what was intended.)
