Hi -- I think your edits were correct, but I just want to explain what was going on there. The editor who added those powers of ten was concerned that for British readers a billion is 10¹² rather than 10⁹, and a trillion is 10¹⁸. The editor was trying to make it clear that these were American billions and trillions rather than British ones. Looie496 (talk) 00:50, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
