Proposed deletion of Yukina Kinoshita edit

The article Yukina Kinoshita has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. A fluffernutter is a sandwich! The Prankster (film) edit

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Prankster (film), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.corraface.net/parcours/cine/pranken.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) MadmanBot (talk) 19:53, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

April 2013 edit

Hello, I'm RA0808. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Battleship (film), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, RA0808 talkcontribs 05:15, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

ANI notice edit

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 05:47, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.  m.o.p 06:03, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi there edit

Hi Adarsh. While you may have been receiving some messages which somewhat impersonal over the past few months, I'm going to try to tell you why you've been getting them.

Here at Wikipedia, one of the rules for adding new content is that it must be verifiable, which means it needs to be backed up by reliable sources. You cannot post information that you simply believe is right without anything to back it up.

This also covers your determinations that certain films are not "commercial successes" or are "bombs". While you may have some inherent knowledge of what is considered a "commercial success", a "fair box office showing", or a "box office bomb", you cannot post this in the articles unless someone else has said this about the films at some point. As such, it is requested that you do not repeatedly change the descriptions of Rango (2011 film) and Battleship (film) unless you can find a reliable source that describes the films as such.

It is also not welcome for you to make statements saying that other's edits are "illegal". This combative nature of yours, as you have seen, has gotten you blocked from Wikipedia. If you want to come back, I suggest that you try to use other language when conversing with editors, or bringing up issues you have on the articles' talk pages rather than edit warring to keep your content in.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:12, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello my real name is Adarsh Aich Sarkar, and i am really really sorry Respected Administrator Master of Puppets sir, please unblock me,and i will change my ways and i will start giving useful edits with sources, when i created my ID something like four months ago,and i just created it,so that i can contribute something to the internet world and the reading world,i never went and read the rules, but however because of that i know that now i am blocked under the section of Making Legal Threats,so please forgive me for my actions, and admin sirs please unblock me. Even i do not deserve to be unblocked, but please give me one more chance Master of Puppets, and i will prove that i am really really a great editor and creator, because they say that everybody who is not a criminal, deserves a second chance. I also owe an apology to MadmanBot,RA0808,and Ryulong has enlightned me and has made me change my ways.So please Admin Master of Puppets give me another chance and i will prove my sincerityAdarsh the Creator (talk) 06:37, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

OK. Please be mindful of our policies from now on. King of ♠ 07:52, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

In several of your edit summaries you claim to know the "rules of Hollywood". This is very doubtful, seeing as you don't seem to know the rules of grammar or punctuation very well. This is an encyclopedia, not a blog to launch poorly written and unreferenced opinion. What have you learned during your block thus far about these concerns? Doc talk 06:54, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Note that there is also still the 3RR concern over your actions on the Battleship article. Do you understand that policy and why your actions there were not acceptable? m.o.p 06:57, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Respected Doc Sir. My english is really good,i have created and edited many pages, which are critically and highly successful,my punctuation and grammar skills are one of the best in my state,i have received many awards for my english skills and have made it to the quarter-finals on many occassions in the Spelling Bee Competitions.I have topped my class, their entire school in grammar and writing. I am a huge movie lover, and i love Hollywood Movies and British Movies a lot,and in fact i love watching these movies much more than my country's Indian Movies which are popularly called as Bollywood, but however i follow the Indian Television Industry equivalent to that of Hollywood Movies and British Movies Industry,as Hollywood,British,Indian Television Entertainment Industry are my favourite kind's of industry. I when i was a small boy, have researched about many articles as to why they type this and that about Movie Industries, and based from that experience,i have done a lot of edits, and if i am wrong please forgive me. It is just that in my pages where i have poorly written things and used bad grammar,i had a lot and lot of tension because people have edited my pages, and i could not take that tension and went into this situation,so it was bad. People have encouraged me to start an ID of Wikipedia, because my knowledge regarding Entertainment and the matters of the world are one of the best in my state, and i have won many many competitions in quiz single-handedly for my school and college even in loosing situations, but unfortunately could not represent the country because i am an Indian-Born Canadian Citizen. Earlier i used to do my edits under an IP address, but people encouraged me to start this ID,so that my intelligence can be known around the entire world. So i really know a lot about the rules of Movie and Television Industries and other worldly matters.

I'm not saying your English skills are bad, but the grammar and punctuation skills are certainly not "shining through". Are you editing on some sort of mobile device? You are not bothering to capitalize "I", not using periods, using run-on sentences, not spacing properly, etc. Again: this is an encyclopedia. You've got to expect people being concerned about significant grammatical errors when reading it. Proof reading is very important, you know. Doc talk 07:30, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes Doc Sir.

I am doing it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab and now i am in a critically pressured state,so i am doing my edits in this particular way,so please forgive me.

Respected Doc Sir.

I hav apologized to wikipedia users Ryulong,MadmanBot,RA0808,Elizium23,they gave me warnings and spoke to me nicely but i used bad language on them,i have learnt my lessons and i have asked an public apology to them, and i hope they really forgive me,maybe if i had listened to these fellow users maybe i could have done a lot of edits.

Do you agree to withdraw any and all accusations that other editors may be involved in illegal activity? -- King of ♠ 18:22, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Respected King of Hearts Sir/Madam.

Yes i do,i have realized all my mistakes and i am going to withdraw all the accusations and insults about 5 users(including fellow user Seaphoto, whom i never mentioned).I am really really sorry for what i have done, and i want to make a comeback as soon as possible and start editing, and my friends are really furious with me.Because i ruined their plans in creating a new wikipedia page.Where i would play a major part because of my Knowledge

I am really really sorry for what i have done, and i hope the ban will be removed from Master of Puppets sir or anybody who is willing to give me a second chance.

Aww!! So sweet that he was unblocked. He's not competent to edit here. Period. Doc talk 10:51, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
This edit (rightfully reverted) came after the unblock. "The film despite receiving a lot of hype and promotions, initially due to its high budget, performed poorly at the box office and became a box office bomb."[1]. I'm not going to babysit this editor. But I will be watching them. Seriously? Duly noted. Doc talk 11:08, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Doc Sir. edit

I have posted an article in your talk page, please i am requesting you that you please read it and reply to me.I did not want to make it an essay and i wanted to make it appropriate for you to read it,but please do what i have said in the first line.

From the messages you have typed after my unblock, you are really surprised and frustated with that editor for unblocking me,and from your message, you never wanted me to get unblocked for the rest of the life which i have,it seems you do not want me,a beginner to ever improve in life and you wish that i had never got a new lease of life from the Administrator King of Hearts.

And from your messages,i can also feel that you are little bit rude, little bit mean, and if you do find fault in somebody, you never want them to grow up in life, never want them to get a second chance, and you are frustated with people and the one, whom you expected never to get a second chance.By reading your messages i can understand it.That is your respected opinion on me,i really do not mind, cause everyone in this world has a right to freedom of speech, and i respect what all you have told to me.

Please reply by reading on your talk page and my talk page.

Your Fellow Editor

Adarsh Aich Sarkar

Look, I've never said that you weren't a perfectly nice person. I have nothing against you, and I am not about to make your second chance here unpleasant in any way from this point forward. When I say "incompetent" I am simply referring to this essay - I'm not saying that you personally are an incompetent person, and I am not trying to insult you. I do apologize if I have offended you. Just please try to edit in a manner that is more encyclopedic, okay? Good luck, Ardash. Doc talk 21:51, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Some advice edit

Adarsh the Creator: I looked at your latest edit to Battleship (film) and you are still not making spaces after commas. I've seen this from other Indian editors, but you need to realise that those spaces are necessary. Also, please hit Preview before you hit Save! If you had done so, you would have seen that you left out some necessary information in the citation template. Here's what you had: {{cite web |url=http://http://www.forbes.com/sites/johngaudiosi/2012/05/20/220-million-battleship-flop-sinks-not-only-universal-pictures-but-activision-game/ |accessdate=May 20, 2012}}. Here's what I have just put into the article: {{cite news |last=Gaudiosi |first=Tom |url=http://www.forbes.com/sites/johngaudiosi/2012/05/20/220-million-battleship-flop-sinks-not-only-universal-pictures-but-activision-game/ |title=$220 Million Battleship Flop Sinks Not Only Universal Pictures, But Activision Game |work=[[Forbes]] |date=May 20, 2012 |accessdate=April 10, 2013 }}. Note that you had not put in the title, so if you scroll down in this version of the article, which is after you saved your edit, you'll see a red error message pointing out that the title is missing. The template won't work without one. You also left out the author's name and the fact it is in Forbes (I've put that in [[]] here and in the citation because we have an article on the magazine), and you put the date of the article in the accessdate (retrieval date) space by mistake. Please note these points for next time you use a citation template. (You don't have to, but you were correct in doing so in this case, since this article uses them and one should in general keep to the style of referencing already established for an article.) It's not automatic unless you install a script, and even then you are responsible for making sure it's right before you hit Save. Also, you inserted the information at the start, in the lead section. Unless the article is so short that it does not have sections, the place for such detailed information is in the specific section, in this case "Box office". I wonder whether you saw that section, where it is already explained that the film performed disappointingly? The lead section of an article is a summary and often does not need references at all, and the article did already include the information you were trying to add there - in the relevant section. So: it's good that you included a reference this time, and nobody's criticising Forbes as a choice. But please pay attention to the appearance of your text - not just spelling and grammar, but things like spaces - and check that your reference actually appears correctly; and when adding information, make sure you are adding it in the appropriate place and that it isn't already there in different words. In other words it's how you're doing it that is the problem. I hope these pointers and explanations help a bit. Yngvadottir (talk) 21:13, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
