  Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Phillip Schofield. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Sorry, I mistook your edits as spamming because you were adding the same link to those pages. I looked at that website, apparently its legit. I have removed my warning and added you to my whitelist. --Unpopular Opinion (talk · contribs) 13:21, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Adam Heayberd, no problem about the website. Hope you manage to find some good pictures. The one on the article page is pretty awful. At least there is a picture, though. It's obviously by a fan. BTW don't forget to sign your posts using four tildes (~~~~) and they should go at the bottom of the section, rather than the top. Hope to see you around.   If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. ➨ ЯEDVERS a sweet and tender hooligan 15:22, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Adam and welcome to Wikipedia. I see that you seem to have come to an agreement not to add your links until the sites are live and have some content and are aware of possible conflict of interest problems.

While one of my main focuses is removing bad links from Wikipedia, your sites look as if they are going to be very well done if the pre-release versions are anything to go buy.

Feel free to drop my a note on my talk page if you have trouble getting the links added to articles after the sites go live and I'll try to smooth the waters for you. --GraemeL (talk) 15:46, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to All*Star Cup. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dekisugi (talk) 09:45, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

  This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Byker Grove, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Phillip Schofield by the River Thames.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Ricky81682 (talk) 06:55, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
