IPA symbols edit

Hi,

You said on the page for Extended IPA that you couldn't see some of the symbols. This probably a shortcoming in your web browser rather than your operating system. If you are using Internet Explorer, I recommend switching to a better browser, such as Firefox. If you are already using some other browser, there is probably something you can change in Settings, Options or Preferences.

I hope that helps. — Paul G 06:44, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I am currently using Internet Explorer. --Acepectif 22:45, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Portals edit

I removed your post from Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Portals because I can't see how the subject matter is relevant to WikiProject Portals. To draw attention to the discussion, you might find one of the pages of the Village pump more appropriate.-gadfium 02:26, 3 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
