No Israel flag on userpage edit

I believe the use of File:No Israel.svg on a userpage violates item 9 of theWhat not to have on your userpage policy, and so I brought it up here where the people who posted agreed with me. This is just a notice to let you know that unless someone reverses the decision you won't be able to display that flag on your userpage anymore. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 18:26, 11 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you would like to display the "No Israel" graphic on your webpage, please start an RfC to seek the community's input. Previous discussions have shown consensus that the graphic's display violates WP:UP#NOT criterion 9. Readding it without a discussion would be disruptive editing, and you are strongly encouraged to start a discussion seeking to revisit the existing consensus rather than doing so. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
