Hello, AbidingTruth, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Elysia and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi I noticed you've been "assigned" (or maybe chose?) to work with Climate change in your class. My guess is that you might be looking for Global warming. See the italics at the top of both articles for a description of their scope. If you get really interested, besides class we could really use (new?) editors, and one subject that has been pretty much orphaned is Climate security. I am a veteran editor and could help answer questions and support you from the point of view of wikipedia WP:Policies and guidelines, with which I am reasonably familiar. Have fun in class!
