do you have any authentic record to prove that achuthanandan was a member in the national council of cpi in 1964? is it not a false claim similar to his claim on imprisonment life previous to 1964 which is still unsubstantiated by any valid record.See that, achu became known as a communist leader even in alapuzha dist only after cpi split in 1964 and almost all the known leaders in alapuzha district stayed back with cpi. he shot into prominence only after he was arrested during the period of sino- indian conflict. while in jail he tried to appease the authorities by mooting an attempt to donate blood to jawans for which he was demoted to branch level in 1965-- thus goes the story; a comrade among 32 members of the national council of cpi from all parts of india who came out of the council in 1964 initiating formation of cpm cannot be demoted to branch level that too for his alleged patriotic deception; the whole story looks ludicrous

- Mate, only section I edited *ever* on that page was the controversy section, regards his comments caught on Video(which I myself had watched on news, where he attempted to forcibly trespass on the property of a grieving family despite being warned by the family to stay away, in an attempt to ward off media criticism, and was insulted on camera by the slain soldier's father). I am clueless on his being a member of CPI in 1964, and have not made any editions or claims regards that. I have no idea whatsoever regards what you are talking about. Perhaps you mis-clicked the name of the person you actually wanted to address this to? Or maybe had a drink one too many?

You've mentioned that the existing page on palaeolinguistics and that I created on Linguistic palaeontology are same. All the references and books I've read use he term linguistic palaeontology and not palaeolinguistics. Also the content of my page was totally different from that of the older one. If you feel they are same, they can be merged. Can you revert back to my older page and have someone merge the two? saolide, 20 sept 2013
