Thanks for uploading Image:Nitsrilogo.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Nitsrilogo.JPG. The copy called Image:Nitsrilogo.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 04:44, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Nitsrilogo.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Nitsrilogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:52, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Logo10.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Logo10.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 20:32, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Techvaganza

edit

I've just stumbled across the above article and noticed it could use a little TLC, most noticeably, it lacks references, which can be a real make or break for such an article if it were nominated for deletion. As the original author, you would seem to have some knowledge and interest in the subject and so I thought you might be best placed to make these changes that, after all, just take a little bit of knowing where to look but make all the difference to an article- for example, it could go from a "stub" class to a "C" or even "B", just by adding a few inline citations. Let me know if I can be of assistance. HJ Mitchell Articulate 12:15, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:Ksat002.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:12, 4 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Good Work @ NIT Srinagar

edit

Hey Abhishek, great work on updating this article from such a long time. Even I have made some changes like the deleting internet cafe in each hostel line as that wasn't entirely true. Let's have an honest article with as much more info as is possible. Amit Dash. Rockin291 (talk) 03:55, 10 February 2011 (UTC)rockin291Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:National Institute of Technology, Srinagar Logo10.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:National Institute of Technology, Srinagar Logo10.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:00, 13 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Techvaganza1.jpg

edit

The file File:Techvaganza1.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 29 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
