Re:Amar Chitra Katha edit

Was an oversight on my part ,I earlier had 364 March To Freedom there and I changed that to the correct one Khudiram Bose but forgot to change the BS .It is actually not available in the new series. Also updated the entries for #102 and #129 which are now available in a bounded set .For the list present in old series but not new series you can check here . https://sites.google.com/site/amarchitrakathawiki/amar-chitra-katha-wiki/amar-chitra-katha---present-in-old-series-no-new-series Sumant81 (talk) 06:06, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

In response to your 3 questions

1)Refer https://sites.google.com/site/amarchitrakathawiki/ack-5-in-1 & https://sites.google.com/site/amarchitrakathawiki/ack-3-in-1-and-special-issues These have mappings between old series & new series for the Bounded Sets .If indicated as BS it means it has never appeared in the new series. If it has a numbering ,it has appeared in the new series barring few cases such as 788-791 which actually never appeared in the new series as individual issues but have just been assigned in the new series

2) "Kadambari and other ancient classics" are scheduled to be released within the end of this month. So you should have it out soon.

3) I am pretty sure the issue Bankim Chandra is actually the reference to Durgesh Nandini issue which is the work of Bankim Chandra "The Taming Of Gulla" is something that I am seeing after you have pointed out.It is interesting as it has never appeared in any bounded set of the new series .I am going to have to give a separate key to this in the wiki page as the definition of a bounded set is either a 3 in 1 or 5 in 1

It is good to have other pair of eyes look into the work, let me know if you find more discrepancies either in the site reference or in the wiki page. Sumant81 (talk) 05:48, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

March To Freedom series is listed as BI, not as BS(which is a 3 in 1 or 5 in 1) .In fact I used a different key for March To Freedom Series and made the legend such that it indicates it is a compilation of series.Yes the series may not be available now ,but that is the case with most new series prints such as 602 and quite a few

Again The coffee table book is from the ACK publication ,and since it is available under the ACK name I have listed it as a special case of a bounded set.As long we indicate the legends and define what is a Bounded Set,Bumper Issue and a special Bounded set ,it should be fine. 679 Swami Pranavananda is definitely out of print . I am pretty sure 814 Kadambari is out of print too as I have never seen a new series version of that .Infact a good way to find ACK out of prints in new series is to look at their complete collection list and see which ones in new series are not found in them .Ofcourse you should ignore the last few newer ACKS as they have still not been made part of the complete collection Sumant81 (talk) 16:07, 19 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
What I really meant was the individual series 814 itself is out of print,It has only now been released as a bounded set .So if you really want to find issues in new series that are totally out of print

a)Cross out the ones that appear in complete collection set b)The ones that appear in a bounded set. the remaining ones are the ones which are out of print.Sumant81 (talk) 13:06, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

October 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Rasgulla may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Re: Regarding Mohun Bagan's trophy list edit

Hello, first off, thank you for your kind words. I appreciate it. Second though, please note that the honors section should only be for major tournaments in India and not just ones that Bagan consider great. For India it is the I-League, NFL, Federation Cup, Durand Cup, Super Cup, State league (top tier only), and Rovers Cup which count as notable tournaments which can be noted in the honors section otherwise they should not be there. You could make an exception for the IFA Shield but that is not an AIFF Competition nor a national cup but rather one held by the IFA and only in West Bengal. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 04:54, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I dont think you understand. On Wikipedia, the only honors that should be listed on the main club article page are notable tournaments, aka tournaments with a wikipedia page or which are nationally held. The cups I listed are notable and national. The ones you did are not. Does not matter what Bagan lists, if we went with that then big clubs like Arsenal or Barcelona would have mega huge articles. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 21:35, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
