Welcome to Wikipedia, Abhinav.Mayank! edit

I'm Ammarpad and I want to welcome you to Wikipedia!

Wikipedia is an amazing community adventure which is constantly being edited. There are many different versions of Wikipedia for many different languages, and the English version has 6,834,324 articles which are written by volunteers like you and me! Making your first steps on Wikipedia can be hard sometimes, so if you need any help, don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk page or ask a question on your talk page under a {{help me}} tag. Someone will help you soon!

Wikipedia has five pillars which summarise Wikipedia's fundamental principles:

  1. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia
  2. Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view
  3. Wikipedia is free content that anyone can use, edit, and distribute
  4. Editors should treat each other with respect and civility
  5. Wikipedia has no firm rules

November 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Anantapur have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 20:43, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Mehsana. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. • Please stop spamming links for www.bachpanglobal.com - see WP:CITESPAM for more information. Wikipedia is no platform to promote your organisation and its various locations. "Education" sections usually list colleges, universities and similar institutes of higher education - not preschools and Kindergarten facilities. If you continue spamming, the website will be blacklisted. GermanJoe (talk) 13:48, 30 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Bokaro Steel City. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Arjayay (talk) 10:11, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

December 2017 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Mz7 (talk) 10:21, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
