speedy deletion

edit

What is your problem I haven't even finish the topic but you want to contest to delete the topic you are very dumb editor. comment added by Jeramenzation (talkcontribs) 18:30, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

The wikipedia is not for experimenting things. If you need to create new articles, create it in sandbox first and then move it to main. Also always provide citation in your articles. Auto biographical without reference would get deleted.

Speedy deletion declined: Nandimithra SC

edit

Hello Abhilashkrishn. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Nandimithra SC, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: "They play in the topflight football league of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Premier League" - indicates some significance at least. Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 05:57, 1 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Closed AfD

edit

I'm just here to give you a head's up that I've proceedurally closed the first AfD for HSC Examination 2014 Question Leak. The second one is the more visible and active of the two, so I figure that closing the first one will keep the discussion all in one AfD page for the most part. I see that you're already active in the second AfD page so you're already aware of the location of the second AfD, so I won't post it here. I just wanted to let you know just in case you see it or wanted to go back to the first page. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:34, 2 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please stop misrepresenting sources

edit

Please stop misrepresenting sources at Bangalore Days. The sources DO NOT support claim of "overwhelming" praise from critics. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 02:10, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

@TheRedPenOfDoom: You are wrong. The source clearly states overwhelming response. -  abhilashkrishn talk 02:12, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
sources clearly DO NOT - one says overwhelming BOX OFFICE. Proclaiming from such a limit set of reviews that there is "overwhelming" is completely in violation of WP:OR - making claims that are not explicitly within the source. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 02:33, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have   Rejected the SPI you filed on NeilN/TheRedPenofDoom because editors normally help each other out on talkpages like that. Plus with ~60k edits vs. ~90k edits, someone would have realized by now and no one has ever gone that extensive into socking. Also if you could please make sure you add diffs for evidence when you file and SPI, it helps us out. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 23:01, 19 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Gamergate Controversy Article

edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Gamergate controversy, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Adding references and external links is not considered a minor edit. Thank you. Strongjam (talk) 13:18, 31 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Strongjam:I thought that was a minor edit because it is the official GamerGate website, Sorry. Numerous articles have published reference for GamerGate website. Examples GamerGate's scary plan to wipe Gawker Media from the face of the Earth and official reddit forum https://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/wiki/index -  abhilashkrishn talk 13:33, 31 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
It's a leaderless movement so it's hard to say anything is official. The link has been added before and removed. You can try to get consensus to add it in the talk page, but you'll probably get quite a bit of resistance. I suspect some editors see it as a WP:BLP issue due to the contents. -- Strongjam (talk) 13:39, 31 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Strongjam: But which part of the WP:BLP policy is not met here. I think external links can be added as the source is from reputable news media, all the three policy points of WP:BLP met with this. I request you to include your opinion about this. -  abhilashkrishn talk 13:47, 31 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Added my opinion on the talk page. I'm not invoking WP:BLP. It's just my opinion that other editors will. -- Strongjam (talk) 13:51, 31 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

New deal for page patrollers

edit

Hi Abhilashkrishn,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
