You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Jina Devi Chongtham has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 16:01, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Jina Devi Chongtham edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jina Devi Chongtham requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 16:12, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

How to copy from one article to another edit

Hello, Abhi11193. :)

I see that you recently copied content from ICC Awards to 2005 ICC Awards. This was flagged by a bot as a copyright violation of an external site, which I believe was inaccurate. I think that external site was a "mirror" that copies content from Wikipedia. But it did draw my attention to the problem that the move did not offer the legally mandatory attribution to the original. Content on Wikipedia is not free of copyright any more than content on most websites. Our difference is that you can move and modify content here, as long as you meet the conditions of the license.

When moving content from one page to another, the only condition that need concern us is that of "attribution." We are required to identify the authors. We do this by linking to the source article in our edit summary when we move the content and by putting a note on the article's talk page.

I have fixed the problem here, like so:

Besides being legally mandatory to give this attribution, doing so will help other editors who see content duplicated on other websites to figure out if those are mirrors. That may prevent content being removed when it doesn't need to.

You can read more about how and why this is done at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. If you aren't sure how to do it but would like to copy content in the future from one Wikipedia page to another, please ask for assistance, perhaps at the Wikipedia:Teahouse. It is a very simple step that keeps our content free from copyright problems. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:14, 15 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

2011–12 Irani Cup moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, 2011–12 Irani Cup, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ––FormalDude (talk) 16:03, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Adding districts to election results edit

Hi, I noticed that you've added the district to the election results at 1967 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. This doesn't work for sortable tables. Just trying sorting one of the columns, and you'll see that the district rows aren't where you'd expect them to be. Instead, maybe you can add a column for the district information (using rowspans). This would work even when any of the columns are sorted. Happy editing! -MPGuy2824 (talk) 02:16, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
