  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. 98.248.33.198 (talk) 04:39, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Arab people. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. DMacks (talk) 04:54, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

  This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. 98.248.33.198 (talk) 05:03, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. {{unblock|I am not vandalizing or trying to be disruptive in any way, I am simply trying to fix the page and they keep deleting my edits. I have a problem with the pictures they post because I seriously believe they do not represent the people discussed in the article.}}

Hello. Is Arab_people#See_also what you were trying to accomplish? I agree you were editing in good faith and not vandalizing, but I think people were objecting to your edits because they (usually) broke the lead section, and removed other images. Gimmetrow 05:32, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Gimmetrow, that layout is exactly what I wanted but on the front page instead of the one they have. Can you show me how to do it? Or maybe we can reach a compromise somehow by keeping both boxes there somehow... Maybe one on top of the other?

Do you want a whole bunch of images right at the start of the article? If so, it would be unusual for wiki articles. Realistically, it wouldn't last. Even if every image were fine, people would remove some and eventually distribute the rest throughout the article. Gimmetrow 05:49, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Unblocked. Keep discussing and don't edit/revert the article for a while. Gimmetrow 05:52, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

How about making a new info box instead of the one that is there? The info box has a bunch of images at the start of the article. And if a new one cant be made, how about putting the gallery right below it?

The image in the infobox is one image made from a bunch of others. You can do that, but you should probably make sure on the talk page the people will be OK with your selections. Also, these image couldn't be "fair use"; the six in the gallery seem to be fine. Gimmetrow 06:04, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

But how do you make that one image from many others and put it as the info box? The problem is that I disagree with those images as representative of Arab culture, so I wanted to delete them, but since I see that people dont want to delete them, I suggest keeping them but with my pictures somehoe incorporated into the article, around the beginning. But if they can be made into an infobox that would be the best thing.

The user 98.248.33.198 deleted my gallery! Now what do I do?

You can put images together with an off-wiki image editing software. I would really recommend you make sure others will be OK with your changes before doing the work, however. Use the article talk page! 98.248 deleted the gallery as a duplicate since there were two identical galleries - and when articles have that sort of gallery, the gallery tends to be at the end of the article. Anyway, you're unblocked, please use the talk page of the article to work out what to do, OK? Gimmetrow 06:13, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you continue edit-warring you will be blocked again. Please do not do so. nableezy - 16:03, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am NOT edit warring! I am simply adding constructive material that is absolutely essential to the representation of Arabs and I am not deleting any images so Im not edit warring. We need to reach a consensus or compromise, the compromise is I wont delete any pictures but leave mine alone please! AbdullahKhaleeji7 (talk) 16:24, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
You have been reported to the edit-warring noticeboard, you can see this here nableezy - 16:27, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi I'm an ADHD specialist and interested in a lot of areas, but these articles are in need of attention because of linguistics. Would you mind commenting on either RfCs as we seem to be interested in a lot of similar areas? Thanks so much --E.3 (talk) 13:08, 13 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Lanternix sock?

edit

Upon examining this user's editing, I have concerns this may be a sock of Lanternix. Checkuser is advised. (He was banned for using socks recently, possibly this is connected?). Izzedine (talk) 21:25, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
