Notability of Abbie Bueller edit

A tag has been placed on Abbie Bueller, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Plasticup T/C 20:25, 19 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

This Is NOT An Inappropriate Article edit

If you'd like I would be glad to point out several hundred articles about other notable American actresses such as Bueller that are currently live on Wikipedia and have been there for many months. I do not appreciate that random reviewers take their moral compass to work with them when considering article relevance.

There's no need to link to other articles at all! All you have to do is make it clear in the article exactly which part of the notability criteria this person meets, and make sure to cite reliable sources that can verify the information. Right now, there's no information on the article that would show how this person is notable, nor are there any secondary sources- if this person really is notable, it should be easy to add the information and sources that are needed. There's no need to accuse editors like myself of being unfair in evaluating articles yet, since the article doesn't meet our most basic standards for inclusion yet. First, show how she meets the notability criteria, and once you've done that, if there are still editors requesting deletion, I'll help you defend the article myself. -FisherQueen (Talk) 21:33, 19 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
