Simplicity in mathematics edit
Thanks for your comment on the cardinal numbers page. I see you are a mathematician. I am not, but I do like to understand maths. Unfortunately, all too often the mathematical topics in Wikipedia go into so much detail that the novice is left completely confused by massive in-depth examination of every minute detail. For all maths topics we need a simplified explanation, as if you were teaching a child of 7. Then we can have the more complex explanations that only a trained mathematician will understand. - I agree that some of the articles can be confusing in their introduction. If I wasn't busy studying for a maths exam today, I'd have a closer look at the that article. Hopefully I'll remember later in the week. Infinite cardinal numbers are very interesting and I think they could help get more people interested in more advanced mathematics - but the difficulty is to find the best possible explanation. For example, I remember very amazed and very curious when studying how two infinite sets could be compared to each other and how we might decide that one is 'bigger' than the other.

All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
