Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:DNSlify edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:DNSlify, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. How to submit a page about free public DNS resolvers service edit

May you provide guidelines on how to submit a page referring to free public DNS resolvers service?

Thank you! Aargirov (talk) 21:04, 5 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Aargirov
1) Please see here:
Please bookmark the provided documentation so that you can revise it when creating the draft.
2) Seeing that your first submission is marked for speedy deletion, please answer me with a list URLs of reliable sources about this topic. (The first sentence at Wikipedia:42 will tell you why just the official web site is not sufficient.) Look for sources, for example, here:

(edit conflict)

The existence or good intentions of the DNSlify operators are not being called into question here. What is questioned is whether you can find references that establish that this service qualifies as notable, probably under the criteria listed at NSOFT. Currently, you simply point to the service's own website as your only reference and that, along with their otherwise unsupported claims, is what makes this draft overall promotional and subject to speedy deletion.
If you want to try again, you need to start with independent press coverage of the service (not press releases or publicity announcements) – those form your notability references and the text of the draft should summarize what they say in your own words. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 21:22, 5 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
