March 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvzve5cbkg8). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:55, 5 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

August 2012 edit

Hello, I'm Mark Arsten. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Barelvi, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Mark Arsten (talk) 00:01, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello User:Aamirik, I hope you are well. I have reverted your edit, but I have explained my reasons on the Talk:Barelvi page. Please have a read. Thanks. Feel free to verify your position with reliable and neutral sources, but otherwise please don't make edits without giving thought to how you intend to demonstrate the strength of your assertion with evidence. Thanks very much. Regards, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 00:09, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hello again, I take no pleasure in reverting your edits. Might I respectfully suggest you try again, this time without including all the partisan accusations of bias in the text you write. Keep it value-free. Keep it neutral. Choose your sources carefully for their brevity, clarity, neutrality and authority. Best wishes,George Custer's Sabre (talk) 10:58, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hello. I hope you are well. You really must try to avoid adding your partisan statements. They are far too subjective (opinionated) to be considered encyclopedic. They cause your edits to be reverted. And for your information, I do not entirely disagree with you. But our personal views are not important. Bias-free and neutral statements supported by third-party evidence are necessary, not our opinions. Yours sincerely, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 07:56, 10 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

You are the one giving personal views whereas I have cited authentic references to justify all the parts of my edit. Leave the matter to Muslim who know this matter better than orientalists. Kindly next time do not reply back untill you have read my edit properly which is absolutly not a bias nor a personal view rather view of great classical scholars of Islam as authentic references have been cited. As a matter of fact on the issue of constructing shrines a verse of Qur'an, an authentic Prophetic hadith and commentaries from over 9 scholars has been cited.
