Help uploading logos edit

Hi Friend,

I hope all is well. I noticed you have updated/ uploaded the CMU seal successfully, without anyone telling you that they are going to delete it. I'm trying to do the same. You will notice my University of Pittsburgh svg uploads that I have from the University of Pittsburgh's brand standards: https://www.brand.pitt.edu/visual-identity/unit-formal-marks. I'm simply trying to update the Wikipedia pages correctly, but I admit, I'm no expert. Perhaps if you upload them the correct way, they will be adopted? Any help would be appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Richinstead (talkcontribs) 16:47, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Richinstead, for guidelines regarding acceptance of logos on Wikipedia see WP:Logos and WP:NFC. After you have correctly uploaded the image either to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons, you can include it in a Wikipedia article using image wikitext syntax. To use it in an infobox refer the documentation of that infobox. – Aaditya_7 19:27, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
