Please be careful when describing living people

edit

Per WP:BLP please take care when describing living people anywhere on wikipedia and particularly in places like the reference desk which are indexed by search engines. I refer in particular to this edit [1] where you described someone who from your question it's clear may be a living person, as gay. For starters, describing someone's sexual orientation on wikipedia, whether gay, heterosexual or whatever requires explicit self identification for living people. And I have taken a look at WP:RS such as [2], not only do I not see any evidence he self identifies in that way, but it's entirely unclear whether he's done anything which may cause other to call him gay. He was accused of sexual assault on another man, but as per the source, it sounds like the dispute is not over whether or not there was consent (which to be clear, wouldn't affect whether he would be guilty of a crime in Iran), but whether there were any sexual activities between the two or the sexual assault claim was completely made up.
