The massacre at Malmedy may have been as a result of an order that was never issued as nobody thought of it. The SS unit was battle hardened from the Eastern Front where it was routine to simply shoot Russian prisoners. Did anybody ever think to issue instructions not to shoot AMERICAN prisoners?AT Kunene 123 (talk) 15:39, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
