Orphaned fair use image (Image:SoA 440.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:SoA 440.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Edits to cite ceb tags in PS3 article edit

Your work on the PlayStation 3 is much appreciated, especially the great job you’ve done fixing citations. However, I had one qualm with your edits. Why have you been un-wikilinking the date fields of the cite web tags? If you closely read the page for the Cite web template, you’ll notice that wikilinking of accessdate fields is prohibited, but date fields may be wikilinked. I’ve been fixing tags forever on that particular article, and that includes wikilinking dates and un-wikilinking access dates in order to properly format citations in the References section — you’re undoing my work, and it doesn’t make much sense. If you wish to reply, please do so on my talk page. Thank you. —BrOnXbOmBr21 23:15, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Debate in the WikiProject Dragon Quest edit

Hello, since you're a member of the project, I thought I'd inform you of a debate currently taking place over there. It is about whether we should use the name Slime MoriMori Dragon Quest or Dragon Quest Heroes for the slime spin-off series of the franchise. There are currently not enough people involved to actually reach a clear consensus, so you are invited to read the discussion here and here and give your opinion on the question. Thank you! Edits to PS3 article. edit

ARC, I understand that you think the article is too long, but you need to discuss these matters on the talk page before removing a major part of the article(such as the table). Thanks. --EfferAKS 18:31, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

AutoWikiBrowser (AWB) edit

Earlie today I started using AWB to make edits. At first I did not know which edits NOT to make, as I had not properly ready the mini-tutorial. I made several very minor edits which I should not have under the AWB rules, if you notice any such edits which were made before 22:00, please accept my apologies. Otherwise, please post a note here and help me learn how to use AWB better! :)

I have been using AWB to fix a lot of typos and remove redundant spoiler warnings from plot summaries. Hopefully these have all been a good use of AWB! ARC GrittTALK 23:57, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Television eps edit

I don't know if you have the page watched, or if you were just going to come back later, but your question was answered. Hope it helps.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 00:47, 9 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

  The PlayStation Star
For the extensive work you’ve done on the PlayStation 3 article, and for continually improving it any way you can, I hereby award you the PlayStation Star. Keep it up! —BrOnXbOmBr21talkcontribs • 11:43, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

PlayStation Project edit

P.S. Since you’ve contributed so much to the PS3 article, I’d like to extend you an invitation to the PlayStation Project. It’s a collection of 23 Wikipedians who want to help out with all PlayStation-related Wikipedia articles, and you don’t have to be a Sony or PlayStation 3 “fanboy” to join. Even if you spend your time on just one article — like I pretty much do with the PS3’s article — your assistance in making it the best article it can be will certainly be appreciated. —BrOnXbOmBr21talkcontribs • 11:43, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! :D I have signed up to the PlayStation Project. :) - ARC GrittTALK 22:21, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your GA nomination of PlayStation 3 edit

The article PlayStation 3 you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold.  It hasn't failed because it's basically a good article, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:PlayStation 3 for things needed to be addressed. Giggy UCP 23:46, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Battlestar Galactica Season 3 Episode 20 Earth.png edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Battlestar Galactica Season 3 Episode 20 Earth.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:06, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

ETC vs. GTC edit

Thank you for you contributions to the EVE Online article, your edit summary expressed some confusion over the term "ETC". ETC stands for EVE Time Code which is the name that CCP uses (see [2]) for codes used to add time to your EVE account. ETC and GTC can and are used interchangeably amongst the fan base. -- RichardSlater (About) / (Talk) 19:23, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah okay, I thought GTC was used exclusively by CCP, my mistake. I still think that they are more commonly referred to as GTC's, though. - ARC GrittTALK 13:03, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I think CCP used "GTC" originally when you couldn't buy codes, but you could buy Game Time Cards (see [3]), so from CCPs point of view there is a subtle difference. GTC appears to refer to Game Time Cards, which have EVE Time Codes printed on them (as far as I know they can be traded through the same mechanisms as bought codes). -- RichardSlater (About) / (Talk) 18:06, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
