Speedy deletion of Arby 'n' the Chief

A tag has been placed on Arby 'n' the Chief requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.

Goya

Thanks for cleaning out the vandalism on the Franciso Goya page! - CNichols (talk) 00:33, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

No problem --APShinobi My Contribs 00:33, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Get a life...

Who the **** spends their evenings on an online encyclopedia refreshing on Winnie-The-Pooh related articles looking for vandalism. You're obviously a 40 year old ****** living in your mother's basement, providing ** *** for her as rent... Get a life you *******. We are Anonyomous We are Legion We do not Forgive We do not Forget Expect us. Scientology and Sarah Palin tried to stand up to us, and met with appropriate fates. Do not repeat their mistakes.

Thanks for realizing that your vandalism doesn't work. Continue and you will be blocked from editing. Also, obviously a guy who spends his evenings getting joy out of vandalizing Tigger has a life. --APShinobi My Contribs 00:48, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Dartmouth Jack-O

Dear APShinobi, We love the Jack-O so much that we just couldn't wait to add our legacies to its Wikipedia page, although we are but freshmen and such a move is premature. In the spirit of the Jack-O, we also could not help but add ridiculous embellishment and semi-offensive commentary to said legacies. We hope you understand and wish you were less swift and vicious with your deletion of our edits. Perhaps in the future you will be more considerate of our attempts to embody the Jack-O's very spirit of fun on its own Wikipedia page. Happy Holidays!

Love, Sambenjijacko

Sorry but rules are rules. Wikipedia is not a place for sharing legacies, especially on Wiki Pages. Perhaps a talk page would have been more appropriate. Please consider reading the welcome page before editing again. --APShinobi My Contribs 07:44, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Just curious, but do you actually have a connection to the Jack-O or are you just a Knight of the Wiki, sworn to protect the integrity of the entire encyclopedia? Or are you both? Any of these identities is very respectable. Sambenjijacko
I use Twinkle and Lupin's AVT to protect Wikipedia from vandalizers. Please refrain from vandalizing again or you will be refrained from editing. --APShinobi My Contribs 07:55, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Advice Please.

I was watching MI5 series 6 episode 6 which mentioned dimethylmercury. Wikipedia to the rescue decribed the compound simply and shortly. I thought a searcher may be interested in contemporary references to this compound. On reflection, this entry belongs in whitespace or elsewhere... How do I allow a user to search for this information without cluttering a concise wikipedia entry? Sincerely, Bitcollector —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bitcollector (talkcontribs) 07:56, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I removed your edit to Wikipedia mainly due to the placement of the information (The reference section is not manually edited, as you did) and your additions lacking citation. Wikipedia is not used to express opinions, or spread "rumors", consider searching or citations appropriate to your subject or discuss your issue on the page's Talk Page. Also, consider reading Wikipedia's welcome page for rules and regulations of beginner editing. Thanks for asking! --APShinobi My Contribs 08:02, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Thankyou for the link to wikipedia custom... It is true, I am a noob to Wikipedia postings. I do not know how to cite the content that I provided sufficently (I watched the MI5 episode personally). I do not think that it is critically important for wikipedia to have this information available to users in general (I think it more important as a search qualifier). I will leave the posting of information in the appropriate subject areas to more experienced users such as yourself if the topic area interest exists. Thankyou for accomodating my prattle, Sincerely, Bitcollector. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bitcollector (talkcontribs) 08:33, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
No problem at all. If you'd like to learn how to edit correctly and efficiently on Wikipedia, perhaps you could consider being adopted by someone. Many experienced users "adopt" new users and teach them the basics of Wikipedia. So, if you have any interest, check the list of people currently adopting. --APShinobi My Contribs 08:38, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Thankyou, I will look into the mentoring process. Sincerely, Bitcollector. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bitcollector (talkcontribs) 08:58, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

career girls

I just thought that "flatmate" (as in sharing a whole flat or apartment) was more appropriate than "roommate" (which sound like two or more people sharing a single room).--79.67.193.116 (talk) 18:06, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, the edit came up under my Anti-Vandal tool. Perhaps you should make a topic on the career girls talk page and discuss the change to avoid other anti-vandal tools reverting it. In addition add the "[[]]" tags so flatmate looks like flatmate. --APShinobi My Contribs 18:27, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Ubxrand

Glad you like it. Just FYI the fact that you've included categorizing userboxen will mean the categories on your userpage are constantly changing (and you'll be dropping in-and-out of certain wikiproject membership). You might want to hardcode the categories on there. Welcome back =) –xenotalk 19:42, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Would it be easier to just not include my project boxes then? --APShinobi My Contribs 18:55, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Patrolling

Thanks for your work in patrolling. However, I am wondering why you felt this qualified for an instant level 4 warning? Also - the link you provided in the users talk page was not to the correct 24 article.  7  23:47, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I must of mis-clicked on my user script for warning templates. --APShinobi My Contribs 23:49, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
