Speedy deletion of Joan Gerling edit

A tag has been placed on Joan Gerling requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Helpme edit

{{Help}}|Does Silverballers comply with all of the Wikipedia rules because I would not want to offend anyone.

Are you talking about an article? Or something you're thinking of creating?

Wikipedia is not censored. --  Chzz  ►  17:26, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Its content has been merged into a different article, and the link itself (Silverballers) will now lead there instead. THat would suggest that some or all of the content was deemed inoffensive. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 17:28, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
If it's a deleted article, the reason for deletion should have been given to you. Also, you can ask the deleting administrator to put the article back into your own userspace. If you do that, someone could have a look at it and give you guidance.

There is no censorship, as a quick glance at articles like cunt etc (re. language), os various of the well-illustrated articles on sex, bondage etc etc. We make no judgements at all about what some people consider offensive and others don't. Of course, we have to abide by the law regarding where the servers are (Florida), also we don't tolerate any form of personal attacks, but apart from that, no censorship at all.

--  Chzz  ►  17:37, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

P.S. I just found the [older version] - and no, there's nothing offensive at all.

It was merged because I think someone felt it covered the same material as the other article.

If you don't agree with their decision, or want to discuss it, you should do so on their talk page first - which is User_talk:De728631. If I can help further, please ask me on my talk page.

Good luck with it all!

Silverballers edit

Hi. I see you found out how to revert my redirect to your old version. I've still got a problem with the article though, because it seems to be about a fictive gun based on the Hardballer, not a real gun, no? Single pieces of equipment in games, literature and whatever fiction usually don't get an article at all on Wikipedia, simply because they are not noteworthy enough outside their fanbase. If you can proof how the Silverballer is important enough, we might keep the article, otherwise you could include your text to the Hitman: Blood Money article on here. Please note also that WikiProject Guns deleted your content from the real Hardballer article immediately after I made the changes, so much for notability. De728631 (talk) 13:10, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ok, first of all we need to know which Canadian company produces this gun. Then, if it is actually real, all reference to Hitman must be removed from the main article, WikiProject Guns does not allow "popular culture" use like games in real gun articles. And since the main Hitman article is not overly big at all, I wouldn't open a separate Hitman weapon article either, a new section in the main Hitman article will do. De728631 (talk) 15:06, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I just found that the "real" Silverballer is actually sold as an airsoft gun, so you must mention this in your article and describe the airsoft features, like pressure, rounds and some such, NOT the gaming features. De728631 (talk) 15:11, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ok, you may of course create a Hitman weapons page, but as said above, I don't think it is needed. If you create a seperate page, I don't think it will survive very long. You should open another section in the main Hitman article. De728631 (talk) 15:22, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Kruger-Schmitt is definitely not real, there is no such company in Germany. It exists only in the game, that's why I redirected your new stub. De728631 (talk) 15:33, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Btw, Hitman (series) has already a brief section on weaponry, how about you expand that? De728631 (talk) 15:42, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I already gave you the link (blue text in the line above). And there's also the search function to the left, which comes very handy. De728631 (talk) 16:28, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Hitman Agents edit

A tag has been placed on Hitman Agents requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Wperdue (talk) 18:12, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Hitman Killers. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You have been warned before, so I am upgrading this to a level 3 warning. Please read the links provided to you in the welcome message above, and follow our criteria for content. Also read WP:CSD to understand the speedy deletion process. Cerejota (talk) 18:16, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hitman Assassins edit

This topic is simply not notable enough to warrant its own article. I've noticed that you've now had 3 of your created articles flagged for deletion in one form or another. Instead of creating these articles, why don't you work on improving the existing Hitman articles? They could use the work. — Levi van Tine (tc) 07:23, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
