Doublelift Edits

First, than you for reaching out to me about my reverting your edits. If you have a moment, I would like to talk to you about them before we take any further action.

It took me a few rereadings, but I want to be sure exactly what you feel is wrong and/or libelous about the text you removed. If I am correct, the issue you have is with the claim that Doublelift "had approached other CLG members to join... SoloMid during the 2015 offseason." That is, the claim that he approached the other team while still on CLG, not that he eventually wound up with them after being let go by CLG. IS that correct?

Further, I don't really know anything about the culture of professional video game players, but from your comments I take it that approaching another team while under contract is not proper and thus the Reddit link claiming that Doublelift did that is "libelous."

Am I understanding your concerns about this correctly? If so, I will take your expertise in the matter in good faith and leave the edit alone. I agree that a Reddit post is not sufficient to make a controversial claim against a living person.

However, if I am wrong, can please let me know what exactly the issue is? I want to be sure we can both reach a point where we're both comfortable with the edit.

Hey KHNaw,

Yes, this is correct. The post basically states that he was poaching people to join a new team, and that is the reason he was kicked. Members of his old team, himself, and several other key figures of CLG have gone on video interviews stating that he was let go due to "team culture differences" and that it came as a shock to him as he was the oldest and arguably the best member on the team. He was then approached to join TSM, only after he was kicked. Only one person on reddit claims he poached anyone, and nobody else in the professional scene has backed up that claim.

Thanks for talking it out, I probably should have clarified the exact text I had an issue with while editing.
