We don't permit advertising

edit

Hello, 98.111.204.187. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. If your company ever becomes notable enough to merit an article in a global encyclopedia, then somebody else, somebody without your conflict of interest, will write an article about it. In the even less likely case that your CEO ever does something to make them notable in their own right, then some other editor without your obvious conflict of interest will write an article about them. Wikipedia does not exist for promotion, or to "inform people" about your company and your CEO from your own biased point of view. You do that stuff on your website; it has no place here. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:53, 25 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
