Just a little guidance - in your restoration of content, you may have introduced a tiny error which left one reference in error; please watch for the red colouring which flags such errors when editing. And you mention a Wikipedia editing process concept, but it's "(Be) Bold, Revert, Discuss (not Delete)", the last item is important - not deletion but discussion.
