April 2021 edit
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Talk:Scottish Gaelic, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button
located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Mutt Lunker. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. BilCat (talk) 20:17, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
Hello there. I apologise, I did not feel I was attacking him at all. Can you tell me which specific comments he/she felt attacked by? Just so I don't repeat the same mistake in future with others. I was just expressing worry for his mental state, his comments seem all too familiar and typical for someone who has themselves struggled a lot with autism and similar mental issues as he seems to be experiencing having read a few of his comments on talk pages.
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at User talk:Mutt Lunker. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. BilCat (talk) 04:08, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
Hello again! Can you tell me which specific part of the comment he/she felt offended or 'attacked' by? As I said, I'd very much like to avoid making people feel this way in future.
- In general, stay away from trying to classify people, even if you are trying to "help" them. Asking people if they have a certain psychological, developmental, or other issues/problems, or their sexual orientation or gender, can be considered intrusive, and deciding that they are something that they have not admitted to being can be seen as insulting. Qualified psychologists and psychiatrists do not make such diagnoses without much training and practice, and do not make diagnoses based on limited interactions with someone over the internet. That does help a lot, thank you. I can see how it would appear like I was trying to 'diagnose' him/her. I will refrain from doing so in future. Thanks for the enlightenment, my friend.

For the record, although you are fully aware of this: you, as an individual, were blocked indefinitely. If you wish to edit again, plead your case and unless and until you are released, you must not edit. It's as simple as that. Running a succession of IP WP:SOCKPUPPETs, with the matters noted on this and the talk pages of the other socks, is hardly a way to further your cause. Mutt Lunker (talk) 10:44, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

Bilcat warned and told me how my comments could have been construed as offensive or inappropriate and it was much heeded.
