In response to your question about Atascadero, California it appears that you have not yet edited the article, or if you did then your edits were not saved. If you find a published explanation for the violent crime in Atascadero, that would be good information to add to the article. The article in question is not protected, so you should be able to edit it by clicking on the "Edit" tab at the top of the page, making changes in the text box, then clicking on the "Save page" button. However, if you add claims which cannot be attributed to a reliable published source, your edits are likely to be reverted (undone) at some point.
