A partner is someone that is a citable long term significant relationship - the citations do not support that this is true regarding webb. They have been seen together, the may have had a couple of dates but to assert that they are partners is totally a step too far and as I said, unsupported in the provided citations. Can you please continue the talkpage discussion, thanks Talk:Stephen Fry - Off2riorob (talk) 15:56, 14 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Excessive reverting edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Stephen Fry. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Editors violating the rule will usually be blocked for 24 hours for a first incident.
  3. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording, and content that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --McGeddon (talk) 16:02, 14 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome edit

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the one you made to Stephen Fry. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (86.163.83.194) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! February 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Stephen Fry. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. MarnetteD | Talk 21:53, 14 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:52, 15 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Stop reverting good faith edits.

Even if an edit is in good faith, it doesn't always mean that they are correct. See WP:AGF — Preceding unsigned comment added by Creation7689 (talkcontribs) 23:32, 15 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
